Sometimes, when the hay is super thick, I miss my old bar rake.

My hay equipment is pretty old stuff. Seems like a tough thing for me to upgrade on. Seems like I need lots of other things. Hay gets pretty low on my priorities I guess. I really don’t sell any hay. Could probably sell enough to offset costs. But gonna have to do some thinking. Need a better haybine. I borrowed the disc from my cousin this year. Just so I could get done fairly quick. Rake I can live with.

I've cut close to 200 bales worth so far this year.

I've only got about 35 more acres to cut, then the first cutting is finished.

I’ve put about 100 rounds up. Had 50 some leftovers so I’m set for this winter. I usually try to get 100 or so from cover crop. After that whatever I get off my little grass patches just kinda supplement. Extra hay is good to have around

No had one let it go. Problem was the volume of fittings needed and still never had the ones we needed

Well, it might dissuade me from getting one One of my local places for having hoses made quit offering the service which is why I was looking into it.

. It’s a nice tool to have but with all the different size hose needed. We just never had enough stuff to get back up and going. One of my farming buddies just told me he’s been saving money ordering premise hoses online. I’m bad about not fixing them till they blow But I might give this a go.

Seems to me I always bust one on a Saturday or about 4:30 when everyone is closed. But the tool wasn’t for me

Well I got a broody hen so instead of fighting it’s instincts figure I’d put her to work. 12 fertilized eggs . Seems to have accepted 11, will remove any she didn’t keep in the morning. Probably sell the hens and have the roos for dinner. Maybe keep 1/2 hens. Barred rock eggs
