Boredom get to you ? That looks like a gravy planting job compared to the dog chit I planted today.

I knocked out 120acres of terraces, point rows & some small fields, before getting rained out. No time for boredom in that mess.

Been planting some tough no till. Tough to see where you’re going. Where you’ve been. But I’m getting there

You just have to look for that occasional dark soil or blob of disturbed soil. It may be 100’ distant but it’s there.

I can relate to that, been in some pennycrest & rye that make things tough going. Then in the tilled stuff if going into the sun I can’t see anything.

My buddies wife & father both think I don’t need the markers because of the mapping. I told them it’s not auto steer, by the time the map shows I am overlapping or straying away it’s to late. The rows will look like a drunk staggering home from the tavern but I always heard you can get more corn in a crooked row.

I’ve got mapping too. Agreed it’s another option to help but I can’t drive by it very well. I like it but it only helps a little

It can definitely be a challenge. I ended up calling dad to bring me the pipe and chains.

I had to jump fields... It’s really fun moving equipment on Pennsylvania’s narrow roads.

Wheat heading out here. Real dry and hot. It's knee high at the most. Probably use flex heads to harvest. Ain't good.

Rained out here, got 100 acres in today, only 50 to go before we can jump to beans & then 1st round of hay. We had 1” in about an 45 minutes just south about 10 miles they had some hail…
