Dry here. Guys are irrigating the wheat. Corn will have to be watered up if they can. Ponds are dry.

Machine is ready as far as I know. Got a monitor number wrong. Just need to change that and I should be able to at least try the thing tomorrow. That’s my only agenda

Pretty much 3660. Close enough. I really like blue planters. Firetrucked up you got layed off after 28 years.

I built most of the pivot posts for those
Yup seniority didn’t mean chit
We were costing them more $ than the newbies so we went first

So what is the proper spacing for the pad-post on those ? Aren’t they supposed to just slightly rub ? Does a fella need to set them with the planter on concrete or will level ground work ?

Nobody around here can give me a straight answer or wants to offer up any assistance towards this.

Concrete be best
Try to center the post with the pads then (like a wheel bearing)tighten snug then back off 1/2 turn
After all pads are set should be barely touching or 1/16
Thats the way we set them up at factory
That help?

That’s what I was thinking.

Some of those adjustment bolts are a beotch to get at with all those hoses & stuff in the way.

Thank you.
