Chicken chit or other?

Sent from Hoskey hilltop
Dumped it on top of cornstalks. Giving me fits. Hangs in spreader. Opened it up so I can pass the things.

seems you scoop just enough stalk to cause problems.

this chit pretty dry so usually keep gates pretty tight and drive close. Ya know to try to get a good pattern

it’s the things I forget year to year. I’ve made this mistake probably 10 times before

a tractor and scrape to clear the dump area before the trucks get there help. I’m sure you know all this but I did know this and still firetrucked up

For the most part
Still too wet to do any farming
Was able to get out with the bobcat last couple days and do some work
Redirected a creek and put a culvert in

Pretty tacky here too. Where I’m spreading is very high ground. I go there when nothing else is cooperating

few more days I’ll be able to move if weather holds.

There’s lots of micros in manure. One reason I like using it. Usually phosphorus rich. I don’t count on the nitrogen in it too much. It has it but I think you loose some of that unless you work it in almost instantly. Just my experience. We use a lot of it

My brother puts it on about 1200 acres of row crop a year. I just had it put on about 15 acres of some dogchit that I mow for hay. The price they give is for delivery & spreading. Last year was anywhere from $85.50 - $89.50 ton depending on the distance from the sheds.

Dry enough to get the pastures and hayfields harrowed to spread out all the cow pies for better fertilizer
Can’t afford to put any on [emoji33][emoji43]‍[emoji94]

Nice chutes n stuff boss. I’m a little envious of your setup

I've got a smaller setup in one of the barns that works better for a few head. But this setup is working out pretty well for the bigger group. Gotta build a work platform on the chute next to the head gate yet.....makes it a lot safer than climbing on the side or reaching thru.
