This is the lot where I usually have the GTG. Today is the first day anything has been on it since the grass really started growing a couple of weeks ago.

Dosed em with Ivermectin a few days ago...and am giving them all the grain they'll eat. Selling them in a couple of weeks.

Young cow letting 3 calves suckle this morning. She's a keeper for sure.

Had one of those. I picked it out when I was 12-13years old. Wasn’t a good looking animal by my standards today. She had twins 3 times. One year cow died. That had a calf. “Ol red” had twins that year and took on the third. That cow lived about 20 years. She lost maybe 3 calves I got attached so let her die of old age asleep in the pasture.

that was a rare one. It was all red. Hereford angus cross.

Might try to start corn Saturday. See some fellas started here. I like may 1st Weather holds Saturday I’ll try things out. Ground any better out your was hosky?

This one lost her first calf to miscarriage. When I found them, about 20 buzzards were feasting on her calf. She was wildly distraught. Since then, she is the best cow with all the calves. She never gets far away from the group of little ones.

I don’t have any more like that these days. I know the type but out of the 15 or so I have. Well they all kind their own business I guess lol

Wow. We plant corn first then beans around here. You gonna try growing both or just more beans.

We will still plant corn, need it for the cows. And beans
We have planted as late as may 5 and got a decent crop

Well hope Mother Nature treats us both well. I know nothing about farming in Iowa. I’d be lost. But I know we both need some good weather so hope it warms up so you can get rolling

Never had a 1086. Used to run a 986 quite a bit. Think the 10 had a different engine. 9 and 14 were the same I think. 14 has turbo 9 didn’t. I think I’m right.

guys used to buy the 9 and add a turbo.
