Buttt......4283 starts? Why would a saw that large be used in a manner that required re-starting it every 3 minutes? (12180/4283)

Actually makes sense to me, I almost always shut the saw off while moving back away as the tree starts over. Easier to hear stuff crackling over yer head

Yep same here, I saw hinge wood while she's trippen then gtf out of dodge while shutting off the saw. On small softwood timber out west, trees can meet their fate about 90 seconds apart. Most the time I saw with partners, I shut off the saw to make sure someone isn't yelling for help
