Friend of mine asked me this question. Will an 036 top end fit on an 034 and an 034S ?????

I think they both have the same stroke, but can't remember for sure.

If I remember correctly. The 036 jug will bolt right up, but will need the top fin trimmed to fit under the top cover. That and a different rear muffler half or some spacers for the lower bolts.

I'm not a stihl expert but I did a conversion on a few of those.

Isn't the 034 Super the same bore size as the 036? If I remember correctly, it was the carburetor, starter, air filter, and tank vent that were a part of the 036 upgrade...

Can I swap jugs or is this a JB Weld mission?
Not clean enough for a shelf queen but too clean to sell imo. It just collects dust. Should be turned into a fun toy.
