Another update boys:
Kevin @Moparmyway has been hard at work again and has a couple more jugs ready.

5105 and 7910 jugs ready to have the ridges in the squish band taken out.


5105 ready to go ont lathe.

7910 up for having its ridge removed.


This jug had an egg shaped swirl pattern in it, in addition to the ridge at the end of the squish band. All from using tools that aren't appropriate for this size jug.

Soooo.... Here's the worst one. This is for my 5105H. Brand new. First he destroyed the muffler on it. Now this was discovered: As Kevin was getting ready set the jug up in the lathe, he discovered that it has been ground through on the exhaust. Nice work Jason. You deserve an extra pat on the back for that, you *dipstick.

Edit: I was incorrect in which saw this jug came off of.

Letting moprmyway play with both your jugs has been a good idea. He looks like he knows his way around a lathe doing neat precise machine work. Doing what Jason did to a brand new 9010 90cc German pro saw will haunt him when he tries to enter heaven. God will consider that a pretty bad sin.

I hope this whole SAWGATE thing doesn't hurt the reputable saw builders. I know I was contemplating getting some work done, but then all this came to light and it has slowed my ambitions to send my stuff out to someone I really don't know and trust it comes back better than before, or at all.

It's hard to hurt good rep. In reality this fool taught many what to look for and who to avoid. The BS he spewed was epic.

I'm gonna have to eat crow here. The jugs that has the exhaust ground through is the 5105, not the 9010. Sorry for the confusion guys. I'll edit the post about it. Fair should be fair, and the truth should be told.

I was incorrect when I posted it was the 9010. It's for my 5105H. Sorry for the confusion. Still a brand new saw, and muffler destroyed on this one too.

I did the exact same thing to my own 390XP. I patched it on the outside with JBWeld. Several years later and it still hasn't burnt through.
