Damn, Jake. That sucks. Sorry man
When the local yokel catches up to Mr. Sticky fingers, that Hart/Edmonson county justice will manifest itself. Jake will bend this sleazy scum bag over the fence post and give him a 5x size ramrod straight to the kisser. That poor soul will curse the day he ever laid eyes on Jakes enigmatic, yet surprisingly torquey echo.

I once with the help of a good Freind in Tennessee put a closed port cylinder with a 254 piston on a 51 took quite a bit of grinding but it turned out good.

Is that 254 like a pro version of the 55? and how much different is it.

It,s been awhile back but I think the 254 piston was 0.80 taller and has a 12mm rest pin so everything has to be raised back up but if I remember right the thing had a bunch of compression.

i talked to the builder according to him he says it is putting out 170-190
so it should be spunky for firewood cutting.

If you find another freebie, I'll double your money on it. We've had one here for nearly 20 years that has been trouble free and built another nice runner from a couple of others. I will agree they are hard to make a profit if they need a new top end and other parts. They are good fire wood saws for the average person.
Sorry Jeremy @Dub11 already beat you to it. I will just stick with my 2xx series. Ha.
