Another signature Doc 36 video. Lol

Saw looks like it would really like a 3/8" 20" bar.

Just me or does it "run on" after a cut?
Maybe just the video

I Don't Know, Gnomeo, but Thank You for taking he time to listen, & bring it to attention.

Diamond Dallas Dave is sending a new Filter, & that was literally the 1st tank.

I'm Sure Doc will be Feeling It Out Whale before it leaves.

It needs an appropriate sized bar. I wanted to load it up to set the ring.

CobbKnob sent me a 25" earlier this Year: I had asked for a 28", but a 25" showed up.

It wasn't an Issue then, & now I'm glad it's a 25" ES Light, because that is what I was thinking about running on this Saw full time, if it will handle it.

Think it needs less timing. Hard to dial in with a cast key. It was popping in the cut.

The wood was rock hard and was knotty and the chain sucked. Also needs an air filter.

I'm gonna fix these things this week, but I won't be able to run until next weekend.

Edit:

Just checked the chain. I touched it up before cutting but boy is it ever dull.

I've got a 25 here and a NIB 25" RS chain. I'll get it fitted up this week, back off the timing, and get vids by Friday or Saturday.

Looks great Doc! Do you ever end up with a little ridge when sanding the squish?
Believe it or not, I've found a wood chisel held at the correct angle, to be the best tool for cuttting a ridge out.

I also lay my cutting mandel on the bench and turn the jug on it, applying down pressure and very little top pressure. The amount of metal that comes out never ceases to amaze me.

Hey, I got the FIRST MOFO 460, and it has a 046 D jug. Dyno'd at over 8 HP, then I added a HD-50 carb and woke it up some more!

Funny, my other ported 460 and my Hybrid don't like that carb, but the MOFO 460 loves it!

I run a 28" Sugi Light on it.

This is in Hickory, with the rakers dropped, and I'm leaning on it pretty hard.

Wonder how this nice 361 will compare to Al's excellent 036/360s.

Although stock 461s seem to have an edge over stock 460s, I think the ported 460s run just as strong as the ported 461s.

Older stuff easier to fix when the need arises too!
Nice Mike.
