The hogh jet is a little bit fat in that video.
This one has no decomp. He wants one too. I'm wondering if the 460 jig will bolt on to the 440 case. Before I dig in, I want to rattle around some options.
Surprising. The 046 has the smart coil with timing retard on start. I’ve only seen the dummy coils on 044.Get an Elasto-start handle and carry on.
I have that on my 044 and a regular old rope and handle on my 046. Vast difference in starting.

The 046 with an elasto and a decomp is a 2 finger starter.
The elasto on the 460, if it had one, was long gone by the time I acquired it.
I just haven't gotten around to putting one one. With it and the decomp, yeah, it will pull easier than the 044.
More gooder8 screws you could swap the recoil from the 044 to the 460, and see if you like the 460 with a elasto starter more gooder.
Just a thought......
I’m good as long as I get a caffeine fix at least once every 8-10 hours. Thanks again for the coffee hook up last weekend.I meant bend my ear about the headache . Yesterday morning I was dragging ass until I got that first cup in me.
You can cut some material off the FW or the transfer tunnel. Whichever is easiest for you. I prefer taking it off the FW@Glock37 mentioned skimming the back of the flywheel on the lathe. I remember you telling me how you did the gasket match. And the chain file working well. The transfers on this new cylinder are art. They have a pretty hard slant towards the intake. And they are the flatest I've seen yet, other than Doc's in my 026.
