661 with max flow, was perfect for a few big logging sessions then started leaking chips through the middle, it had the black cover so changed for backing plate and it did it again, used grease, the little foam washer looks grotty as hell, caught it before it got to the carb

Put the hd2 back on for now till I can knock up a fix, got a backlog of things and the hd2 worked fine, it just needed cleaning constantlyView attachment 115125
I’ve seen people modify a screw mount to work on 661’s from watching a few videos.

Put a spring on the bolt to hold a medium hard rubber washer up against the inside if the filter.
Some tractor filter cans have this setup in them.
Ag tractors fight dust all day.

OR
Glue a thin rubber washer with an undersized bolthole on the inside of the filter.

Plyobond is a good glue/cement to stick it on.
Sticks more stuff together than 3m yellow snot.

I still hope @Maxflo comes up with a foam filter for these round style filters. I think it would be pretty simple.
They fit multiple saws.
