I would had to beat that filter with a hammer to get the *s-word out that packed in the corners of the pleates.

Yup, 90% comes out tapping it on a round of wood but its the corners of the pleats where the fine sawdust packs in and is truly annoying to clean in the field. I sometimes pick it out with a sharp thin stick.
