Like @Stihlsmoking said, it's still a great little saw. I bet it's a red lever. Is it a side tension version like @Canadian farm boy stated?

I'm gonna build a 034 next. As I have a 036, and they're a great saw. I'd like to have the carb off of it, as I can't find one, and I'll bet it's a Tillotson.

:mad:And I’m supposed too have 036 plastics coming from J_M that I traded my 044 parts for and don’t know if it’s gonna Work or not now:(:(:(

Plastics will work, will just have a hole for the decompression port since they were from a 036 pro. Only the non pro models had no decompression port I believe 750AFD66-D19D-41F2-AADF-32803EBF47C8.jpeg

I've had great luck with the Zama carbs for this model. I have a Tillotson coming shortly and I'll see how it runs compared to the Japanese Zama.

Even the knock of Zama I bought from Dave runs nicely.
I've got both and can't tell the difference when swapped??

I have it, think I have all the parts, but it is still in a box in the shed. It is an 034 with the front adj, closed port.

I initially thought it just needed a piston, so I got a OEM piston, then when I pulled it down saw the oiler was bad, the seal, the bearing ... I have new bearings & seals in, passed vac/pressure test, and that is how it is. Have trouble getting motivated to do it with my other projects and my MOFO 360!!! I even have a steel screen filter for it!

We will need to run your mofo 036 vs my own ported 036 one day :headbang:
