I think it was that junk that was on there that made it look that way . I'll check it out closer when I get back home though.So the left front corner of the cylinder wasn't broken off? I thought I saw a crack.

does the case have to be split to check the bearings ? I don't have much experience in pro saws . Little different than clamshells .Looks like the cylinder will clean up quite easily. Check out those crank and rod bearings really close.

Yep I was sure surprised that the jug wasn't totaled . It didn't sound right at all when it ran. It sounded really weak or something like that. I can't really explain it.Wow, it ran like that and didn't sound awful? Wonder where that chunk went? I would think that there should have been much much more damage.
