I get a kick out of the guy and watch just about every video if it's chainsaw related. He builds some strong saws. Over all he comes across to me like he's a good guy that's a bit full of his self but is trying not to be.
His most-viewed videos were the ones where he almost kills himself on a riding lawn mower pulling a loaded trailer up a hill, or drops a giant tree directly on his side x side.

I'll have to look those up. My favorite so far is him cursing subscribers that DM him all the time like they're best buds. The crappy mill he bought and was surprised how crappy it was is good too.

Same dude did an ignition advance on a 590, runs 87 octane fuel, doesn't get the low jet dialed in, and blames the running issue on the rev limiter.

Says it needs a "620" coil. Newsflash: It's not bouncing off the limiter and it doesnnt need a 620 coil. I run a similarly modified 590 in my tree service and logging fleet. My 590 with ignition advanced has that same exact low speed "cackle" if you don't get the octane right and the low speed jet properly rich.

EVERY SINGLE saw porter on this forum could hear what was wrong with that saw and tell you exactly whats wrong.

I actually advise folks to take no more than .010 off the flywheel key on the 590 timberwolf. They'll tune much easier. .020 off the flywheel key is OK too, BUT, u better pay attention to the octane rating and the low speed jet!

The saw tuning circus starts at 10 mins:

You cant tell the guy anything. He knows everything.

When I hear "motomilk is the best", its a great vomit inducer.
Correct, he gets his ambitions mixed up with his capabilities. Many of his before/after test cut times you can tell he is manipulating the cuts to show better 'after mods' results. When he stared touting this boutique almost backyard Motomilk oil with aerospace nano technology improved cut times by 20%+ I called him out and mentioned how wild of a claim that was. You could mix up virtually any 5 2T oils at the same ratio and be lucky to even detect a 2% cut time difference, hell U could mix up 30wt, at 40:1 and still be within margin of error on a 6 second cut time. He didn't like this and went nuts calling me all sorts of names and stuff. I told him his temperature testing with an infrared gun was not a good idea, I tools him to go buy a sparkplug thermocouple washer plugged up to a K multimeter to do it right as an easy cheap solution. He kinda listened & started using a multimeter with temperature lead but didn't get the thermocouple washer, instead stuck a probe into the cooling fins which really just measured what the cooling fan was doing, not cylinder temps. So then making claims about oils and temperature is silly delusion at best. I was nice to him when making some suggestions which ruffled his feather and ego. Joe did a great job doing his tests, he is honest and doesn't play games. But I think he was even quite chuckling inside after informing him of the 'placebo effect' . One poor guy recently paid him to port a new MS261 & tbh it ran a fair bit worse than a stock saw. But that's YT lots of good info and plenty more stuff you get a laugh out of.

The oakie woodsman fella ran one of his cs 620 saws against various other's ported 620's. It was no faster than a stock saw. He waltzed in and blamed it on the port numbers. Claimed he used donny walkers port numbers. Kind of a weird deflection.

The guy in question like most on YT is a complete cull. About as full of it as Ironhorse.
