the happy wife happy life thing is bullcrap it lets them sit your sack in their purse and expect any wish they want heck with that stuff

It really works for some people Dallas.

It hasn't for You & I, but that don't mean it's always wrong.

I just wanted to add for anyone considering a pole saw/pruner set up to definitely shop for prices as they vary a lot. I found the best price from Tree Stuff but not sure if that's still the case. If you buy extra poles, they'll adjust the length of the pruner pull rope accordingly. Shipping can be expensive on these since they're "oversize" so get all the poles you may want at the same time. I have 3x 6' + a 4' and I don't think more than that is practical. (but I'm glad I didn't get less as I often use them all)

Yep. I've never asked my wife if I could buy anything. I tell her about it. If she wants something and needs more money I give it to her. I do have to tell the kids no some. If not they expect every time they go somewhere to bring crap home. They don't buy near as much when it's their money.

Hope they are bringing more your way than they are here.

Nice steers in the 600 lb range were going in the 1.20 - 1.40 range.

Same weight heifers were bringing 1.10 or so.

Better than it was a couple of months ago, but still very low compared to prices two years ago.

It's worked very well for 26 years.

And for my wife and I. We will have 31 years in June.

Glenda and I talk over any expensive purchases. And we talk over decisions that have to be made concerning our cattle.

Now chainsaws are how I make a living, so she stays completely out of anything to do with that sort of stuff.

We're talking about getting a new UTV for the farm......and we decided together to hold onto our steers till spring.

I know where you are coming from there: I did the same thing in 2009 at my house.

I am interested in your long term opinion of the RCS: I'm assuming that is a GRCS?

Yes, trees dropping limbs, leaves, acorns and every few years CATAPILLARS. They gotta go.

As far as the brand it just has a Thern sticker on it, I don't know about GRCS, I think RCS means rigging control system.
