Sharpened a chain w/ the grinder and took down the rakers, put a few things away in the shop, got a three wheeler running for the first time in several years, posted up that and a couple more saws on CL, took pics of a vibratory plate compactor and posted that up for sale, inflated a few tires, made a pot of soup, burned some wood cookies in the barrel stove in the shop, put away some bars/chains, read newspapers and magazines to catch up happenings while I was out of town,

Sold a load of smoker wood (red oak) and took a Poulan Countervibe 3400 and a countervibe top handle in trade. They both seem to have compression. It doesn't fit into my plan to get rid of saws but maybe will help for income generation which is a greater need right now. I've got other things I should be doing but feel the need to open em up and take a look see...

Blew out the driveway.............again (in my best Forrest Gump voice)

Should check over that lightly used Dolmar 421 I got recently and put a new chain on it and I have that Echo PPT 266 pole saw I should assemble as well .
The Shindy blower is still sitting in the box unopened , no rush for it .

So I had the carb off the 3400 3 times and finally got it running properly. I had put a new kit in it right off the bat but it kept starving for fuel. Now it's purring like a kitty. Then I discovered that the bar and chain didn't match the sprocket. The sprocket was completely unusable so I finally found a used one. Of course the new sprocket was 3/8 and the bar and chain was .325. So I had to sort through stuff and found a newish Oregon bar and then dug up a new chain in the correct dl count. So I have the saw all back together except for the top cover. How did I lose those three screws? Dang it! Quit and took a shower.

Speaking of Poulan 3400 Countervibes, what do they go for these days in running condition? $100 bucks? I haven't sold one for a while. I know they have a following.
