Found out why my first rebuild, new seals, new base gasket and decarboning didn't want to run. I put the carb isolator block gasket on upside down! It is the one between cylinder and the carb block. I had previously done this with the gasket between the isolator block and carb. It wouldn't run the later way but would idle good on the former. Just couldn't touch the throttle.

1987 36,700 original miles and it really looks like it in the fenders and under the hood. It still has the original cassette player. Car came with the original tires it was supposedly bought with they were date coded I guess but the car has had some type of damage as the hood has been replaced and resprayed. Only thing done is the exhaust has different muffler on it that the owner I bought it from changed out. Carb needs gone through from sitting so much.

I couldn't find any damage on the frame what so ever. No rust under the car that I could find. Gaps are all good on trunk and hood, doors

...the ol' 384 Rochester Quadrajet. My sister/BIL bought a burgundy Monte Carlo SS brand new back in '86...it would get up and go.

The Buick Grand Nationals back in those days would rock & roll too...just haul ass!!
