Just got done running a 10k. Why oh why do I torture myself like this!!?? Lol

Not bad for a few hours on the mill. This tree fell on my house and bashed up a gutter and messed up some shingles. You bet your sweet turtle this summbitch was getting milled. The rest is already firewood. I still have a few pieces to mill too.

My friend and his son came over and we cut up a mess of lumber and some posts and beams. Had to chuckle to myself when it came time to cut some slabs up into firewood, I told them pick what saw you like(there was eight of 'em lined up in the shed there) what do they pick? Husqvarna? Stihl? Nope, the ear buster Homelite XL102. We used it all day cutting slabs and edgings. Ya just can't figure sometimes.

Tore the flywheel off an old Bolens garden tractor for a guy. The man is 95 years young and he had the hood off it and was just finishing up putting the deck belt back on his other tractor when I got there the other day.

Never seen an ignition set up on a garden tractor quite like that old Bolens.

I like to listening to the old stories those kinda guys tell. It's unreal how much stuff they've seen.

Yep he owned a small store for a number of years and was the postmaster in town when he retired. I like the stories reminds me of my grandparents.

Our fiberglass tub cracked all the way through in the bottom. I found a guy that would repair it. He put a sheet of fiberglass in the bottom and basically did some bodywork. It looks perfect and it's been in there for 4-5 years. Best 500 bucks I've spent. Saved me from pretty much gutting the bathroom.

This one isn't worth fixing. It was a cheap sob to begin with. I did the fiberglass repair kit. It'll hold until I get a new one.

Did some rental property maintenance (extended gutter and added downspout on garage, cleaned gutters, caulked some woodpecker holes, etc) Paid some bills, wrote some emails, researched and made phone calls regarding an IRA rollover, read, split and stacked some firewood,

Finished dialing in the new(er) Holley on my dump truck. Now to put the backfire protective device in the one that came off and mount it on my winch truck.

This morning I went to a few estate sales, (no saws) took Groundi out for lunch, did some writing, did some financial analysis of our income/outgo (sort of important when the job ends), searched for my missing monster maul (finally located) and split some wood. Got tired of that so got out the hydraulic splitter. That broke the push plate so I stacked some wood. 2 steps forward, one step back...

Cleaned the wood stove and run the brush down the chimney. Starting to get chilly at night. Was 68 in the house this morning.
