How long will that last you?
Pretty mild here in NW Washington so that would get me from October to June.
I have a Blaze King Princess stove thats pretty efficient as well. Other than a few little electric heaters in back rooms and upstairs its my only heat source.
My place is an old farm house so if we do get some NE wind and cold weather I'll definitely have to burn up to 50% more than that. Also I burn Cedar or whatever other wood I get. Peeps here will pay $400 per cord for maple, birch, cherry so I usually sell that.
Average 3-4 cord per year.

Very cool, yeah I do hear about heating old houses, my house is 103 years old, we do have gas heat, but a supplemental wood stove in the basement. The last couple of winters have been quite mild and have not needed to run the wood stove much, which helped out not having to get any wood this year while dealing with two bulging disks in my lower back. Larch/Tamarack is king here for fire wood, when one falls in the forest, everyone hears it and scoops in to cut it up. I have had a few guys literally shaking with excitement to come in and get a firewood permit because they found a standing dead larch nobody has gotten to yet. I have mostly red pine and birch to burn.

Lol. Thats pretty funny. Most peeps do t like Doug fir which we have plenty of. Funny thing is its about the same btu as big leaf maple and not near the ash. My favorite to burn.

Yesterday I was trying to reclaim a fence that was being overtaken by multiflora rose bushes and various other brambles/bushes. It had been at least 6 years since any trimming had been done around it. This is the result.

Ran these four today. The 61, 041, and 031 are running like champs. The 450 was running good, but now it decided not to oil. I’ll have to sort that out. The 031 was very strong running.
Are all of these out of that bunch of old saws you got a few weeks ago?

Hey! That's exactly what we've been doing! I ordered a couple of renegade blades for the fs110, I'm hoping they make it go a lot faster.

We went to harbor freight and picked up the icon ball joint/universal joint press and it made quick work of rebuilding a lower control arm on the pilot. And I went by the Toyota dealer for a new gas cap for the 4runner sense my evap codes came back.

Boxed up Jack’s pile o parts; boxed up the 066 flat top…heading to Wis; rebuilt 1 of 3 201s after watching Scott’s vid :p
First one was already cleaned and ready to assemble. The other 2 are a total mess, lol. Gonna have to wait for a day above freezing to pressure wash everything.
Pick up a local pig tomorrow 😃
Well, parts…

Couple days ago I had a knock on the door ,guy I used to work with who two months ago dropped off a Poulan pole saw I had it a day or two and had it running .Then he insulted me and graciously gave me 5 bucks .He had taken the carb off fuel lines the whole nine yards plus it was a low emmisions engine .I had to Google that damned thing to even get it to run but it did then he brought it back again when he fumbled again .That time I never touched it and when he came for I told him I don't want to see that POS again and that by George was that .I can fix just about anything except stupid .

Picloram is easier.
I’ve never been one to believe that the billions of gallons of chemicals Americans use each year has nothing to do with our health problems. It sure isn’t the only thing, but it’s got to be related. Just my opinion, not looking to start a war.

Yesterday I started drinking not planning to go anywhere. Wife is mad we don’t have a snow shovel and I said I’m not going anywhere to get one. Yesterday afternoon the neighbor calls that she can’t get anybody to clear her driveway. We go up and the skid loader won’t move, the mini and tractor both have dead batteries. Go get a jump pack and get the tractor started. Drive the cabless tractor 3/4 of a mile to my house for fuel, almost roll the tractor because I’m too drunk and frozen to be doing anything, drive the tractor back. I get the skid loader moving and drive that home to do my driveway so I don’t have to buy a shovel, get four other driveways done on the way home. Spent five hours doing driveways, my wife and neighbor think I’m in jail or dead. Somehow got my wife to take me to pick up a Stromboli after all this. It snowed again this morning so I ended up having to buy a shovel anyway. I realized why I don’t drink anymore but I found my 365 Special I though was gone forever digging the snowblower out.
