I've got our roll-up shop door unpacked. It's spread out on the floor in 101 little pieces, I think for once I'm going to break down and watch the installation video.
As I've gotten smarter I appreciate the tidbits of info those cliff-note videos provide. Even if they're in Mandarin.

I bought a buddy a case of Miller Lite to clean my chimney. With the new stove and liner it stays pretty well clean. I didn’t want to give up the Fisher but it ended up being a good decision. Could probably clean it every three years but I don’t need to gamble.

Did your BUDDY Give you one of 'EM?
IF Not THEN next year (Time) pull one out of the case (Whilst it is still yours) Then give him the rest of the case with an extra Thank You.

Was vigorously informed that the neighbors do not want to hear me in the garage tuning a chainsaw at 8:00 AM on Sunday morning.
That might be accurate.

Are they good neighbors? If not, let 'er eat. :p 0800 is not unreasonable any day of the week. A lot of good work gets done by working folks well before then. ;)

While the power was out from the crazy wind we have been having, I worked on the bits n pieces I got off amazon to make a few ethanol separators. Cost a whopping $11.93 each after shipping....made 4. After pulling out the guts from the soda bottle fittings I hand tapped the inside of the quick disconnect end to 10x1.25 to fit the fuel shutoffs. Now they can be used on any soda bottle type threaded bottle to separate out the ethanol from gas. IMO its not worth paying an extra $1.25 or more per gallon to buy non-E gas around here.

He would have but I need to watch what I drink. Certain preservatives and anything with sulfites give me almost immediate headaches. Troegs, Modelo, Becks, Stella are safe bets. Funny that it affects me now when I used to like off of Busch, Extra Gold and High Life for years. I should’ve died several times probably. Now I drink a few beers and I feel it the next day.

The correct starter switch should be 925-3021.
Confirmed.

Checked the old one from our 682 with a meter,......ordered one and put the new on the 682.

Plowed with the 582 a bit ago. Around 200* temp at roughly half throttle w/ambient @mid 60's.

voltage regulator crapped the bed,....letting it cool some to put my last good one on. Still have to plumb the oil gauge.....and get a good battery.

Then I'll prep some 8" rims for new work boots.

Thanks

Pshh. I've popped one off at 1am after a marathon build. My neighbors have never complained. At least not to me. But to be fair my closest neighbor likes to get at it at 7am, or earlier on the mower, he's 80+. I have one neighbor that is in her 60's, her ex husband was a logger, and she's the youngest of the "next door" neighbors I have. The old lady across the street is the widow of an old dude who did small engine repair his whole life and the 73 year old man up the hill cuts firewood for money. I live in a special place. Kid down the street likes to plow his little 4 acre field at 2am. I swear he gets home drunk sometimes and his first thought is to get some with the tractor. We are all in the city limits.

I'm just curious, ethanol is a octane booster. I've always assumed that they skimp on anti-nock additives when they make e10. Do you have any problems with removing the ethanol and having detonation? I always buy non ethanol for me 2t stuff so I have no experience removing it.
