@Wilhelm mighty fine lookin welds!
Thank You.
But I am still learning, getting the hang of things.

Did come along a fair bit figuring out my automatic inverter flux core welder.
You just set the one knob it has to what the workpiece thickness is and it tunes itself.

Now I am finding a increased liking in laying stick weld beads with this new to me inverter stick welder.
I love the buzzing sound it makes.

The difference in welding performance of a digital feature packed inverter welder vs a simple transformer welder is incredible!

That's ridiculously good for a $70 random china welder

2 year warranty, if it dies they'll fix it, replace it, or refund Your money.

I may have overpaid mine, was 80€.
But I feel it is worth it.

You must know that the Chinese parameters do not correspond to reality / no one will replace your burnt welding machine / although 3 electrodes should not burn it if they are not the thickest. The most powerful Polish welding machine cost $200, now it costs $300 / see prices in the USA and let me know what it looks like there, I'm asking out of curiosity

Walk with the pup, for the pup.
2 1/2 hours, 9km/5.6 miles.

She gave up about 200 yards from home so I carried her like a hot fluffy puffing sack of potatoes.
Started huffing & puffing myself in the process.

Now, lets get a BBQ going.

Thanks for pointing that out. I may try one but ive never stick welded in my life. I have an old cheap flux core wire welder that I've used maybe 6 times in the past 10 years. I'm not very good with it.
I'm wondering if these inverter stick welder would be easier to learn. I wouldn't even know what kind of rods to get for one.

Rutile coated for ease of welding and thinner material, but Basic coated for cleaner deeper welds and thicker steel.

Rutile coated sticks arc easier and hold that arc better than Basic coated ones, but these new digital inverter welders seem to overcome the difference noticeably.

Rod gauge would depend on work material thickness.

Neighbor came by to get his disk tiller.
Yeah, I saw something broken on his tractor.

What it looked like, was cracked for a while but broke recently.

What it should look like

Impact drive broke the already bent & compromised bolt, so it needed to be replaced too.

Yes, I was stationed over in Germany with my family for 4 years, we took all of our household goods, used our appliances with transformers and then brought them back when we moved back. We did pick up a few dual-voltage items while there so we could use them where ever as long as we had a wall outlet adapter.
Thank you for your service to our great country!!!!!!

put the bar tires on the 955 saturday morning & got to mowing that afternoon. had all but about half an acre left when mother nature decided it was time to stop. almost mulched up this little snapper headin toward the pond.

today before work I changed the coolant & put a new temp sensor in ($15 from the dealer) while the system was empty. tomorrow I'm going to look at a 5ft bush hog about 30 mins from the house, there's some brush & multiflora rose that need taken care of at my parents & this property.

I accidentally mowed over a box turtle once. That was one of the worst odors I have ever smelled and the darkest red blood I have ever seen.

I caught a painted turtle with my 154 last year, looked like a hockey puck flying through the air. I felt bad but isnt much you can do if you cant see em
