We got another C-17 through Ops checks, Functional Test, fueled up and heading back to its home station today. Another one will probably leave tomorrow...a couple of electrical issues with it, I'm sure the avionics guys will get it straightened out either this evening or tomorrow, and off to Functional Test it goes.

Yeah, even with help (required) and a manlift (required) it's still a lot of work. I've built buildings without insulation too and those are much easier. It's almost like concrete work in that no matter what equipment you have, it's just a lot of work and you'll get tired.

Got up earlier than I would have liked and washed my and my parents car before the heat set in.

Hiding inside the house now, it's too hot outside to do anything besides sitting in the shades.

I'm happy to report that I got some trigger time yesterday evening, I played with my neighbors son in laws firewood beech log pile.
Took my PS-6400 & PS-7900 along.
The PS-6400 had the better chain on (4/5th worn Dolmar) and performed very well.
My PS-7900 ran great, but boy is that (3/5th worn) TriLink loop a crappy chain - even though I filed and grinded all and everything off of it, it still won't self feed worth a damn, nor does it seem to like noodling. It also makes an very wide kerf compared to the Dolmar branded Oregon loop.
I ran almost a whole tank of fuel through both saws and called it quits. I went home wet as a fish in water, it's just too hot and humid for any work - but I had fun.

My PS-6400 behaved great, but my PS-7900 almost vapor locked twice on me.
I think my PS-6400 might like a MM similar to the one I did on my PS-7900. I'm considering to test swap the saws mufflers over to see how they'll behave.

Sawed up some more boards with the mill for my friend, he brought his new saw again, can tell it's running better the more it gets used has kind of a pissed off note to the exhaust, sure rips. So we sweated a lot, sawed and sweat some more. Had some venison bologna for lunch, didn't feel like it, but sawed up one more log anyway. Had a picture to go with this, this is what you get instead.

I had the same problem yesterday when loading pictures of a saw I listed for sale. The odd thing is that I was able to load the same picture to another site where the picture size limit is smaller than it is here. Go figure...

Went to in laws house to trim a couple trees back from off the house. Took my 009 with me. This is the first saw I ever owned. My pap got it for me many years ago and has cut enough firewood to heat 3 houses for probably 15 years. Fired up on the first pull after sitting for at least a year. Love the way this little thing sounds.

For how small it is , it has some grunt to it. I have another 009 that's all orange that I'm going to put together. I have a sweet spot for these.

My sister had this Great Dane Lab cross who was as dumb as he was big. He was however freakishly quick for his size. He was running along the edge of a swamp one day when this frog leaped from between his front feet. Pure reflex, old Kermit got gulped down whole. Leggy had funny look on his face for a little while.
