Drove my father up to the body shop to pick up his International Scout SSII that he just had restored. It turned out great. It was about an hour ride and it was turning heads the whole way. You could tell most people had no idea what the hell it was.
A lot of memories in that truck. It was his preferred tow vehicle when I was a kid. We would tow the camper down to Va. every summer for vaca. on the chesapeke as well as the almost weekly atv rides in this thing.
I always loved that thing. It was taken off the road 20+ years ago because the body was falling apart. My old man has been talking about doing this for years. Great to see the eyes lite up when he got in.
