I'm getting too old to run stuff like this.

Did a little wood work today...brought a few saws to the party..had troubles with two of them :/. The 372xpw I just purchased somehow sucked the kill switch wire into the fan. And it has an air leak...had the top cover off, and pushed on the air filter a little, which made the saw rpm climb quickly. Will have to look into that.....the my jmssaws 066 just quit and flooded out. Pulled spark and was pretty dark and wet. I knew it was running a bit rich, as Jason tuned it for his altitude, and I live right on the coast. Gonna have to check for spark...hopefully just a plug.

Cut, split and stacked up some firewood this morning while I had a helper that showed up. After a lunch break went out to a blown down popple and cut it up.

One more session should fill this up.

Of coarse the end with the branches on it always lands in the yard.

Reached the other end.

Must have been a "Cracker Jack" of a job, cause when the split stump opened up, there was a surprise inside.

How's it working out?

Here's the bottom side of grinder if someone didn't know how they were made.
Don't have it all swept yet, will post pics when done.

Had a recreational day in the woods. Cleaned up blow downs on my atv trails, got some trails opened that have been blocked for 10 years because of bad hang ups that wouldnt come down with a pull from my little farmall. Then we went up to the inlaws and helped split firewood for a few hours.

Far from it. Bought a 2007 Foreman that someone beat the *s-word out of. Gonna do some top end work and clean it up to flip.

The thing has been put through the mill but it fires right up. Just sounds like someone threw a handful of bolts in the valve train. It's a testament to Honda durability.

A lot of people would just part it out but I'd rather resurrect it.

Here's a crappy picture I took the other night.

Drove my father up to the body shop to pick up his International Scout SSII that he just had restored. It turned out great. It was about an hour ride and it was turning heads the whole way. You could tell most people had no idea what the hell it was.
A lot of memories in that truck. It was his preferred tow vehicle when I was a kid. We would tow the camper down to Va. every summer for vaca. on the chesapeke as well as the almost weekly atv rides in this thing.
I always loved that thing. It was taken off the road 20+ years ago because the body was falling apart. My old man has been talking about doing this for years. Great to see the eyes lite up when he got in. View attachment 33195Scout vs. Stingray light to light.View attachment 33196
I recognize that intersection jk14. Its about 4 miles from me west of me on the way to Montgomeryville cycle center. Nice looking scout he has there.

Flew a couple hours this morning (flight instruction) and then spent a good while sorting through file cabinets cleaning out stuff. Ran a big pile through the paper shredder and also did some reading to get caught up on stuff...
