My neighbor did some regrading and deforestation and gave me a new water feature. Everything goes to my house and into my basement. Got the wood stove going to dry it out.View attachment 463501View attachment 463502View attachment 463503View attachment 463504
Some call me a blimp, gimp, or other names but a tortoise can outrun meI tried to outrun the Goodyear blimp for an hour but couldn’t get away
Hopefully you and the neighbor can reach a solution. Here land rarely transfers hands in a few generations but when it does sometimes issues arise. It is best to be proactive than reactive but sadly sometimes that it not always possible. This all used to run to the back of the yard then catch a low spot and run to a drain pipe below me. My pole barn is a lot of the other new water route. I had to kombi a ditch in. Next free weekend the neighbor has we are going to try to divert everything back to the original way. The water this is diverting is washing out underneath my shed. The sky looks nice after the rain.
He’s a good guy and it doesn’t usually rain like it’s been. It’s a perfect combination causing issues. There’s a waterfall coming from what you can see in the picture above the radar. That’s my roof through the trees. Right now a lot of the water is running down the road into his mud pit and into the corner of my basement. I’ve been at this house since 2010 and there was never any flow towards the house. I’m digging a ditch to run the waterfall away from the house until we get it fixed uphillHopefully you and the neighbor can reach a solution. No better place to "crash"
You’re right about that. Hard to soft catch a 1000lb lathe. The only damage is where I had to jack on the pan to get it back up. Freakin’ miracle. No better place to "crash"
No worries there. I got so puckered I may have to buy some prune juice. I was on the other side of the shop before it landed.I call that Holy Snake Sheit!!!!!!
Then I go check my shorts for sheit
Wait til you get old. It is fiber pills to keep the brown flowing, others to keep the yeller going, and fish oil to keep the bones from creaking..........No worries there. I got so puckered I may have to buy some prune juice. I was on the other side of the shop before it landed.
I had this happen to me. Totally full of tools. I was unloading it from a trailer by myself. No damage done. You’re right about that. Hard to soft catch a 1000lb lathe. The only damage is where I had to jack on the pan to get it back up. Freakin’ miracle.

Probably 500 people today decided to drive past a baby fox dragging its back legs down the shoulder of Rt 322. Unfortunately it will probably be euthanized but it’s better than getting hit again or suffering until it starves. People suck, I’ll update if there
I got an update on the fox I picked up.
Hi Ryan,
This is Red Creek Wildlife Center writing with an update on the Red Fox. We tried to email you but the message would not deliver so I'm texting you instead. After giving the fox a more thorough exam at intake, we found that it had a pretty severe spinal injury. Unfortunately, in cases like this, there is not really much we can do to fix it since it is internal. The chances of a recovery with an injury like that are often extremely low, which would be the case with this fox. We are so sorry to say we decided to humanely euthanize it so it was not in pain or suffering. We do not take the decision to euthanize lightly, so we hope you understand that we decider this would be the best choice for this fox. We apologize we do not have better news for you, but thanks to your kindness, this animal did not suffer and was warm and comfortable as it passed.
