Well put.The one that's easiest to work on is the one you get use to.

If I take the jug off, do I need any type of head gasket when I button it back up? I really don't have that much experience with Husky saws.I have no idea what you guys mean about less parts and right places... but whatever.
RI Chevy, do you mean impulse line, or fuel line? .. or both?
RI Chevy, hate to break old news to you but that plastic intake clamp has been the bane of husky's existence for years. The really dumb thing is that the severity of the issue necessitated a recall which husky failed to do. In order to change the clamp you need to pull the jug. There is an updated clamp / mount piece.

here's a fresh vid on the topic
Husky uses a paper gasket mostly so you will need one.If I take the jug off, do I need any type of head gasket when I button it back up? I really don't have that much experience with Husky saws.
This 441 that is on my bench now might have a bad ignition coil. The dealer wants $168 for new.....just the coil! That's 20% of a new saw....and there are no am parts available.
I've not read through the whole thread, but if you have not done it pop the muffler and check fast if your p&c is okey before you spend any money on it.Hey Matt:
Is this the intake boot on my Husky 345? Is it starting to come off or is this the way they seat? I am specifically referring to the bottom of the intake boot.
