Archer chain square grinds nicely!
Doesn’t the Archer have a slightly wider top plate? I had a pic at one time of Stihl, Archer & Carlton, seemed like the Archer had a wider tooth/top plate.

Yes. The 3/8 looks like .404.
The cutters are softer than Oregon though. Easy to hand file.

Pull it apart so you can clean and grease the torrington bearings. Then you can reassemble it and tighten the nut just enough to eliminate the excess play
