So that one has a lot more movement that a “stock” 450 grinder would??
OE 450 just has 2 holes to thread that chain holder knob into, as far as I know. You can’t raise or lower the holder. The eccentric allows a lot of variations. Since it was like this when I got it, I can’t compare to stock. I do know I can position the top plate exactly where I want it.

I believe Shaun makes an adjustable arm for it, but it’s been a while, could be wrong on that one. You can also shim your wheel down to get some adjustment

Yup, I can modify those old Simington 450's so they have a vertical and horizontal adjustment.
