Or here's an idea for my tiller. Will a Honda GX or GC engine drop right in place of my Briggs side valve?

Ok, so the carburetor is on the Fritz in my Honda GC-190 powered Cub Cadet tiller. Looks like you can buy the whole carb for less than what parts would cost. Engine numbers are GCAAA 1755445 MHA2. The carb part number I'm getting is 16100-Z1A-802. Does that sound correct?

Not mine, I saw it listed on Marketplace and thought it was kinda cool. I don't recall ever seeing an earlier electric tiller like this one before.
I guess your garden better be close by....lol491741951_1205755854609529_6286860332659794563_n.jpg491763131_2497419230607476_3978166165786744849_n.jpg491744388_1807895073441662_3477926634239115290_n.jpg

Friend gave me this one:

Needs a lot of work. Gas tank full of rust (cleaned out now - vinegar at 45% concentration), take off the head and clean the valves and intake port, rebuild the carb (rusty and gunked up bad). Had two flats (holding air for now - filled with 4 Oz of Slime each), and the list goes on and on.

Anyone know where to get new labels - these are peeling off and very brittle.

Head after clean-up:

Should have taken a "before" picture, but was more interested in getting it cleaned up and ready to go back onto the cylinder.

Well, after all the engine work, it still doesn't run. Compression is only 45 PSI after new head gasket, cleaning valves, etc. Engine is too old and tired to work anymore. Going to re-power with a HF 6HP Predator engine. I'll save the old Briggs for another day.
