I had to modify the smaller pipe a little because at my first try the angle wasn't that good and therefor the pipe was too close to the brake leaver, that's why it has an "ellbow" now.
The mounting is a little bit tricky because the main pipe's dimensions is for the 48mm big bore cylinders and therefore so huge that it did not let much space for the nuts at the mounting holes.

Surprisingly this pipe isn't as loud as expected, compratively as loud as my normal Mufflermod with 22mm SIngle-Port and without internal deflector, maybe 10% louder

Small port, more low rpm torque less rpm hP?

I'm not claiming to be the know all authority for exhaust modifications but personally I want my saws to have the smallest amount of restriction without being so loud it's miserable to run. I'm not sure that I've ever seen any evidence that restriction in the exhaust help power anywhere in the rpm range. Again I could be wrong, I've just never seen the data to support it. Maybe somehow with reversion or something??

Grab any stihl with a removable front cover and make a few cuts straight down, dogging in, and dogging in harder. Remove the cover and do the same thing in those 3 cuts and see what the difference is

In general, yes, but like anything, there reaches a point of diminishing returns.

Two scoops of ice cream are generally better than one scoop, but 10 scoops will likely give you a stomachache.

These things depend on a lot of factors, and as I have stated previously, things have to be in synch.

I have had MS660s that will fall on their face if you fully remove the baffle, and I have had other ones that will not run strong unless the baffle is removed. It all depends on the porting (etc.), and both can run well.

It is not just about flow, but it is a "pulse". Ideally, unburnt gas will not escape before the saw fires, and burnt exhaust will be fully extracted.

Guys who build piped saws do a lot of experimenting to get it right. A regular muffler will not do it as efficiently as a pipe, but the concept is the same.
