Same AM 372 muff...just drilled out the tiny pipe, made the hole bigger, welded on a deflector.
Port-matched the inlet to the widened cylinder port.

I plan to build a similar short pipe for the chinese 5200 / 5800 Komatsu Zenoah clones

finished today










I had to modify the smaller pipe a little because at my first try the angle wasn't that good and therefor the pipe was too close to the brake leaver, that's why it has an "ellbow" now.
The mounting is a little bit tricky because the main pipe's dimensions is for the 48mm big bore cylinders and therefore so huge that it did not let much space for the nuts at the mounting holes.

Surprisingly this pipe isn't as loud as expected, compratively as loud as my normal Mufflermod with 22mm SIngle-Port and without internal deflector, maybe 10% louder

I do mine similar but more to the front
