You guy's probably do this but I've been taking an egg shaped carbide burr and cutting through the tube walls of the cheap 372 mufflers i clock the cuts away from the top tubes towards the center.

Those sound/work better than a duel port cover for some reason. My mofo 044 has same muffler mod, Al did it.

I prefer side ports to a front port
I find it works better too

Does anyone know of anyone making replacement Stihl 084 mufflers,

I know you can get the billet fronts, and I have one but the muffler bases are impossible to find and more expensive than a rebuild saw if you find one
