Considering that. Not sure I want anyone else to tune this and the two trimmers I just purchased for work. The reason I had the muffler off the blower, my boss straight gassed it last summer. It survived, I found it before it was run too long.

Sounds like they need some 4 stroke stuff.

That sounds good in theory but in practice its not going ot be a fun job with 1000 spot welds to find

Anything that is attached to the can near the ex port leave in place for extra support and prevent cracks. Cut off wheels, burrs, and tin snips and you can have the main part of the exhaust tube gone.

You guy's probably do this but I've been taking an egg shaped carbide burr and cutting through the tube walls of the cheap 372 mufflers i clock the cuts away from the top tubes towards the center.
Terry syd gave me the idea works great doesn't make it much louder.

I like them they blow the saw dust and sometimes loose bark off lol

Was using 288 deflectors, now the red97's are the hot ticket. Am liking keeping everything off to the one side for the operators sake, these are for work saws to be used. Just my take on it anyway.
