After getting a little carried away with the die grinder, I ended opening the exit up to closer to 98% of the inlet

Solve that problem by inserting the proper sized plate in the spark arrester screen slot.

I don't have a torch to braise or a tig welder to weld a proper one in but I think it'll work just fine.

How do yous guys do your muffler mods on the 562xp/cs2260? Do I need to slice it in half and gut it to make it flow well enough to be worth it? Or can I hog a hole in it and toss a deflector on it?

Me..... more holes at the cylinder end....double the outflow with another hole in front of the stock hole ..and then extend the deflector . Second hole melts the brake flag otherwise. Not to loud but I think it is a improvement. This is a 560 xp being in UK
