Whenever possible, I like to keep the muffler looking stock. This one has no additional deflectors or anything......but I bet it will flow plenty.
Thanks so much for sharing! I was going to just drill out the spot welds, but obviously that wouldn't have worked. I figured I'd be in for a chore the first time I looked at my muffler with that tube in there. Thanks again. Off to the bench to start slicin' and dicin'!

I want to know if you get any soot or hot spots on any pert of the saw from the exhaust. I'm thinking of adding to the deflector on mine, but I don't know yet if it is necessary. I expect the upper spike to get the most heat, I just don't want much getting on the edge of the crank case or clutch cover.
