Hand sanitizer and mechanics wipes are your best friends on poison ivy days. The alcohol in hand sanitizer breaks down the urushiol in poison ivy quickly. A little Dawn dish soap in your laundry will take care of whatever gets on your work clothes. Exposure to the small spring leaves can help you build up a tolerance to it as well.

I use ivy-x wipes, they work really good.

I didn't have any left.

If they work for ya stick with em. I used to use them a long time ago. They are convenient but kind of pricy for what they are. A wipe with some fancy áss scents and mineral spirits as the main ingredient. You get the same results from the orange oil based gojo/fast orange mechanics wipes and at least those double as something useful beyond just PI. Plus available at almost every gas station or auto parts store in case you ever find yourself without the ivy-x wipes.

Anything to remove the resin, it is a contact reaction. Reaction does not spread, you spread resin and then reaction spreads. Wash your hands, do not use gloves you used again. Get a shower and wash those clothes and gloves as soon as possible, wipe down boots to remove resin. Never burn it, resin becomes airborne.

You guys that don't have to kill trees everyday are lucky.

I had one of those days where if something could go wrong...it did.

Blew a hydraulic line...chip truck snapped a leaf..one of our young dudes learning to use a saw cut a 200ft 3/4 rope in half not paying attention...

Fukk today.

Sorry to hear about the challenges from today. Sounds a lot like how farming goes at times.

Same here. Everything go smooth for awhile then everything goes to crap all at once. I had a guy cut bull rope in half only after 2 minutes I thas told him take it off first before sawing. Thankfully the good days out nunber the tougher days.

I bent a 32" bar too...it's garbage now.

I have no one to blame for that.
