40:1 is just fine with good erl... I think too rich oil mix confuses the mtronic/autotune sometimes. After all they were designed for 50:1 mix I would guess.
That's good Ryan. Glad to hear the 362 is running well...
But I am talking long term, not short term...
Years down the road. Only time will tell...

Did you run 32:1 in it from day one with bike oil? Most of us here do not put that many hours on 1 saw in 1 year.
For example, I owned a Stihl 029 for almost 25 years. I ran that saw much harder than it was designed for, but it was still running in tip top shape when I sold it a year or so back..
Cut minimum 25 cord a year with that saw. It lasted. Only changed fuel lines once and plug a couple times. Piston and cylinder were perfect as the day I got it.
Just an en example.
I need saws that last 25 years...

I ran Stihl orange bottle oil at 50:1 for 20 years, then when I found this site I started going 40:1... I switched to Stihl Silver bottle Ultra. Then stopped after two - 6 packs.
Bought "other" saws, and the rest is history... [emoji16]
I use 40:1 with ope oil in my "personal" saws..
I couldn't give you a reason why though..I guess because chainsaw forums told me to.
Some of my saws tell me to do that...I use 40:1 with ope oil in my "personal" saws..

I had to put instructions on this saw for its owner. View attachment 193694View attachment 193695
