I'd have to agree that the 441 is a smooth saw, had a few and that was one thing that impressed me about them.
Even said that on youtube when Mason first loaded that video.
I never had an R version, but I had a couple of the MT's and I didn't notice them being any different than the earlier standard carb versions, but only some of them overlapped so I may not have noticed.
Out of stihls 70cc saws its my favorite, but I haven't ran a 462 yet, lots of guys seem to like them.
When you put a 28 on them in big wood with the same sprocket it gets closer...27.95 seconds27.42 seconds
I feel like they have a winner on their hands as far as power stock, after break in. I wish I had a chance to break mine in before it got sent on vacation.I took a few swipes with a 572 on saturday. That's a strong ass saw.
