I gave the cylinder off my 064 hybrid to a logger that was in a pinch so it gave me a chance to see how the unicorn cylinder I have ran. The muffler has a small mod but screens are in it and a ignition advance but the piston and cylinder are completely stock.
With a oem gasket it's 99.5 120 77 020 squish. Lot of ported 066 could be beat with it.
How much advance has it got?I've been wanting to dial my ignition timing in for some time now. It's a bit better now. It was way too far advanced before. I'm thinking it may still be just a tad bit.
I used a key filed .015 thicker than the one I was using. I don't have a timing light to know exactly. It's running that 046 poly flywheel and coil, which the coil isn't in the exact same location as the stock 064 coil if I remember correctly.How much advance has it got?
To rainy and dark to cut anything so I just revved some piss out. Cr500's 7900 first start after porting. Muffler is still stock
It's about gone.
Both are very nice, but I give the nod to Stihl 066.
