All 3 have the same case capacity.
I thought they did, was just making sure. It's gonna be another week or 2 til mines together. I decided to make it look a little better. Porting is all finished, just need to get it in gear and get the rest of it done. I've never ran a ported 066, I'm pretty anxious to run it..

They all hum good. Nice work! Chasing that tunes a *b-word hu, with those oversized carbs. 1/8-to 1/4 that's PIA.

Did you make it out past 3/8 with stiffer spring?

Have you tried to clean up the mahle cylinder or is it to far gone? I like the way you worked that piston.

It looks like mostly piston metal stuck to the inside of the Mahle jug, I scraped at it a little, and it looks like it would clean up.
I was wondering if a soaking in phosphoric acid would lift the deposits.

Look up Randy's method. It's here somewhere.

I'd degrease and cautiously use muriatic acid on a Qtip. Then sand. I bet you're fine.

Your exhaust roof looks really square. Did you raise it?

Those jugs come in with a high exhaust anyway. Sanding the piston ain't gonna help that.

Clean up your OEM jug and we will help you get your saw running like it should again.

Take a look here

So Jason,

What makes lasbajohn's porting different? Better factory jug?

I didn't time them, but the 56/64 looked faster in that big wood.

I see your working on your legs. Where they thinner for Laslabjon's build?
Porting is no different than any other.

It is the best stock cylinder I've ported for sure.

I think it beats the 056 by a second or so

The 066 will tune 2k faster than it is in the video. According to the timing it has to much intake and exhaust duration to run a long bar but evidently a number is just a number.
In the last year I've learned there are other things that are as if not more important than a number.
