Keep it pretty fat Dan. Those saws don't tune like the newer saws.

Yeah I noticed. Seemed weird. It didn't like it too lean. The low needed the most adjustment, it was loading up.
How does it sound in the second video Randy?

Turns way less rpms than a modern saw. Low rpm torquer.

I bet that saw turns right around 8500-9000 rpm free revving, they just don't turn the speeds of today's saws.

I didn't tune it with a tach, I tuned it by ear.

Another boring 661 video lol. Here's the same chain from previous videos. After noodling and a couple tanks of fuel it still pulling good. I'm liking the Stihl square more over Oregon square now. With it filed and rakers the same I think it holds up better. Didn't know if anyone else had same experience with Stihl chain??
