I'm still learning and testing what raker hight I like with my square file. And my filing still needs some work but I'm getting there. I have a couple chains that's way to aggressive and one that's sharp but is slow like it's dull. Here's a decent chain I was testing with a 8 pin. If you have to pry it seems your just putting pressure on the raker![]()
I did Mike. I took two passes off the rakers before I started. Each test had a touched up chain. That was with the .325 7 pin video. Took the in cut rpms from 13500 to 12765.
Should I go more?
jeff how low are the rakers now you know they want numbers they cant handle how good the 026 cuts
