Cool Wolverine. Who makes it?
I personally think it is easier to just hold it in place when you need it.
But that is cool.

I can't embed the vid he posted so I'll try a link for those that can. And you can also see his name in the link. If anyone recognizes the name please lmk, I'd love to get an ok with him that I posted here. https://www. facebook.com/ chris.riley.986/ videos/ 1297525500329088/
You'll have to remove the spaces I put in the link. I couldn't get it to stop trying to embed.

I'm still learning and testing what raker hight I like with my square file. And my filing still needs some work but I'm getting there. I have a couple chains that's way to aggressive and one that's sharp but is slow like it's dull. Here's a decent chain I was testing with a 8 pin. If you have to pry it seems your just putting pressure on the raker

You may want to try cleaning the gullet, otherwise, it looks good.

I think the only way you can get the link to work is if you are signed in to fb. And if you are... you could message him (his profile pic is of a mustang front end). In the video the tach is vibrating like crazy!

I have not timed any of these.
This was the overall tune. It is a little fat.

The .325 8 pin seemed to fly through the last 33% of the cut.

Yup. Wood wasn't the best. I thought the .325 8 pin was best, but I felt the bar after making several more cuts, and bar was fairly warm as compared to the other tests I did.

I did Mike. I took two passes off the rakers before I started. Each test had a touched up chain. That was with the .325 7 pin video. Took the in cut rpms from 13500 to 12765.
Should I go more?

I'd bet that your saw will cut best somewhere around 10-11k Jeff.
The way I see it, you payed for more power, you might as well use it!
