Have you ever experimented with larger than stock mufflers? Not expansion pipes, but something like the size of a 394/395 muffler on an 064/066?

Ive made spacers but couldn't find anything.
There's something there I'm sure.

Ok, so you make your milling chains different than firewood chains? Do you find square grind cuts better milling that round filed?

Not much difference in them but a little. I can touch it up and not lower the rakers and it goes back to self feeding while milling. They get pretty aggressive for bucking after that.

Here is a Stihl 026 comparison. Stock 026 running an 18" bar. Carlton Full Chisel .325 chain, versus a MOFO 026 running a 16" bar with Carlton Full Chisel .325 chain. I was too lazy to change bars over, as I just fell this Red Oak tree in a friends backyard, and I was time challenged.
