Lol. I should have maybe worded it differently. But my main concern was about the tunes of each saw.
Just for the record, I used the 026 for about 90 percent of my day. 3 tanks of fuel today. 6 trees, the smallest being 12" in diameter and the largest being about 22" on diameter.
Both awesome saws for their respective uses.

Doc. The 026 ran flawless and idled fine. I am probably still a little fat on the top end. I changed the 32:1 to 40:1 and saw ran much better.

Jason. Your MS440 also ran flawless. An absolute beast. Other than my chain issue. I think the rakers are too low from the 2 in 1 file.
But it still cut like a raped ape.

Now your funky little 026/044 setup is freaky.
Lol
As is your animalistic 036 setup. Lol
I try ;). Lol

I like things that are a bit different then the norm.
Almost every one of my saws has parts from a different saw in it. My ported 044 is my only saw that's all 044

I think your 440 runs excellent as well.

My point was that I'm not upset that a well done 440 was faster than my 026. It sure as hell should be.
I think the next time I cut, I will do another stock 026 vs MOFO 026 video. Lol
More like apples to apples.[emoji106]

I'm glad you like the "drivability" of the saw. Ease of use, reliability, and wanting to grab it first is what's become most important to me these days. I could care less if another saw is a bit faster than what I build. It needs to be enjoyable to use, and it seems like I hit my mark with your saw Jeff.

Oh yeah! My Goto saw. My baby. Lol
Much more enjoyable than any other saw I have run. A grand slam homerun in game 7 of the world series. Lol
