Bar length?
8 Pin?
Saw seems to be on the limit
That is a 32" bar semi skip square ground chain with an 8 tooth sprocket. It is as much bar as I would run with it. There is more torque to be had with that saw but I built as a "highwinder". I like it a lot with a 25" or 28" bar

How’d you make it a high winder? Just curious

Efco MT-8200 - not a bad runner, but not impressive at all in stock form. The piston in these is almost identical in dimensions to a Stihl 064 piston, but the Efco runs
1.5mm thick rings vs. the 1.2m thick rings on the Stihl slug. I think I may switch this over to a Husky 272 piston, advance the ignition, and put some better numbers
in the cylinder -

What is this mythical 282 you speak of?

I might actually make a "282" out of this with a 288 top end. The Efco cylinder is very similar in dimensions to a 288.

The good thing about that is the carb mounts are also very similar so I could retain the Efco intake components/choke/throttle, etc.

Wouldn't that make it an 8800?
