Saw didn't seem to mind much
It’s not bad if the bar was buried, but that change over down there about shin high where it gets bigger has some sort of a hard spot in it I think. It did it with the last couple stihls that I ran that bar and chain on. The 385 I did last week had a new EXL or that new husky chain, whatever it is, on it. That one carried right through it

Pretty good chance at that happening!
Depending on who ported @SOS Ridgerider saw? I believe JMS?
I was just saying it because I think the 6100 ported is one of the strongest 60cc offerings to be had. I've seen a couple Randy did and they SCOOT!

Finished up this one today also after I got a new fuel tank from @drf256 and 3/4 wrap from @Bodell0. Same bar as the 461, but I sharpened the chain and it’s running a seven tooth sprocket

Looks like it had more torque than the 461. 461 sounded like it had more rpms?

Not sure. I didn’t have a tach on it. The 461 was running an eight tooth and the 460 was running a seven. I always kinda thought the 461 generally had a little bit more torque and the 460 always felt a little bit more high strung. But I think they could be ported differently and have an entirely different outcome. The guy who owns the 461 wanted to be able to run a 36 on it occasionally, and the 460 is going to wear a 32

Muffler is the real pain on the 562, after that they are cake after you do a few of them. They are so smooth and filtration is superb! Nothing wrong with the others just a great design.
Cut the bottom off, modify, and weld back on. Definitely a huge pita not matter how you slice it.

361 redeemed itself today lol. Same chain on all 3 saws.
Dan and I did those 262’s years ago. They’re come a long way since then.

That 361 is just something special. With the right chain I still think it will beat that 562 mason. Not as torquey by any means though. It just holds cut rpm like crazy.

361 a ass kicker with a 20” bar, will take a strong saw to beat it. I’m really interested to see how Jeff’s 262 does against the 361 now. His felt like it has more rpm than those two did when I made a cut with it at the gtg.

If you look at some of the historical contraptions called chainsaws fro the 50's - 80's, you quickly realize that whether it's a Husky 262, or 562, Stihl 036/360/361/362, Dolmar 6100 or 6300, Shindaiwa (I forget the number), Efco 162, or Echo 590-620 series, we're all blessed with a glut of good options. There will always be personal preferences, and Chevy-v-Dodge-v-Ford, but nothing I just listed would get kicked out of my truck or barn. I happen to favor huskies, but an 036 wouldn't break my heart. But, there is a fairly cherry 10mm 044 in my future from a friend when the funds allow (not that I need it). It's almost like hotrod cars, except for I can afford these toys sometimes!
