Sounds good John.Did some work to the carb on this one after I ported it and was a tad concerned it wasnt going to idle correctly. I tuned it tonight and going to see how it cuts in the am.
My 026 does the same. now cuts so fast the cover cant handle the noodles. The noodles jammed me up. Lol
I guess I gotta keep the tip down when noodling.
Nice. Is that an 026?
Sounds good John.
You're going Nylon on the filter I presume?
What were your final numbers.
Just stand a hunk of wood up on end and cut down in it 3/4"- 1" and set the phone in the kerf sideways. Widescreen
Sounds great John nice jobDid some work to the carb on this one after I ported it and was a tad concerned it wasnt going to idle correctly. I tuned it tonight and going to see how it cuts in the am.
Yes Sir.
104/122-125/75. I did alot of grinding in the chamber. Hoping to get sub 210.
Will be using a metal mesh filter for it. Now just need to round up a decent filter cover for it.
Not liking how its coming off idle. Not sure if its just tuning or carb yet. Didnt have much time this am before work to mess with it.
Ill do better next time Tony, promise.ditch the polystyrene mate
get it in some timber
Need to change metering cover on carb for the metal filter, but you probably know that already.
Did you advance the timing? If so, how much?
Doesn't sound like its 4 stroking, could be my speakers. Whats it revving to? Looks strong John.
Try bringing the L back to 1 turn out. Retune the low. It sounds too lean on the low. Too fat, it jumps well but stalls if idles for a while. Too lean and it always stumbles.
Here is my Dr. Al Ported Stihl 026 running a 16" bar with .325 chain and 7 pin rim.
Haha was just stirring you upIll do better next time Tony, promise.
