Pure speculation here, the saw sounds strong. The motor didn't plane out till you put a load on it. Before I'd raise transfers, I would try a different chain that matches the rpm the saw wants to cut considering the wood and outside temperature today. Been dealing with that my self today with a high of 21 degrees.

The ignition wasn't advanced. Lol

I thought I did that when I tore it down but I didn't.

It does sound better now but it's going to have to be a big gain cause it feels mushy.

It runs ok but not like it should I don't think.
Are they supposed to whip a 046/460?
If so I got problems

Jason, If it feels as strong as a ported 046/460 then it is done real well. Often with the hybids, they are fast, but lack the torque of the 046/460 case saws.

The three at the CT GTG were all strong, maybe borrow one as a benchmark. W/O running the saw, tough to know how much it can be leaned on (or not).
