That 394 looks impressive Jason. So does that redlight.

I'm sure Mattyo is gonna want a Unicorn showdown this spring.
Thanks al.
The 066 is for a faller at a stave mill,I build all there saws and that's how they like them.
Bout 180lb and a stock intake and that's a stock untouched muffler and dp cover with both oem screens in.
I'm amazed at how well as saw can run with very little outlet,

It's all in the flow baby...

When we figure it all out, it will become boring as hell.

It's the puzzle that intrigues me.
That's why I like to port 1122 stihls, you never know what you will get, there the same but everyone different.

Take the coil out and throw it in the trash is how you fix it.
It's got a single key flywheel or it would be changed now.
I've only got 1 066 flywheel and I'm keeping it for the one I'm building myself.
I can make it work without a key but I don't like that. If it was mine I would but not a company saw.

Maybe the one I'm going to give you will work. It accepts both according to the back of the flywheel. If it does then you can throw his coil in the trash!

I forgot about that.
If it has 2 keys it will work with any coil.
I wish I could have remembered that cause I would have put my flywheel on it.
I'm going to call him and tell him to bring it back. Thanks man

All of them run good but the better the cylinder the better it will run.
Not a giant amount but better
Getting the exhaust down to 101-103 without a Freeport or 200+lb is not easy without a good cylinder.

Its got two sets of numbers on the back. According to Daves chart it should work with both. HOWEVER, it has only 1 keyway.
1122 400 1209C. Limited coil
1122 400 1214B. Unlimited coil

I'm not sure on a 066 but on a 064 a flywheel with both numbers and 1 key is limited.

The 1203/1204 for the 064 is for limited with one keyway. Mine he says are marked for both with one keyway. So I'm assuming it will work with both????

I think Master monkey had a broach to cut a new key slot.

It doesn't matter, I'll use it on my saw without a key and just turn it where it needs to be

I have a 066 rl with the single key metal flywheel. Was talking with a member at a gtg and he said I could use a poly flywheel out of a 460 . It will fit the smaller crank on the 066. Has anyone tried this or can confirm for me. I'd like to make it unlimited. Or find a dual key metal flywheel.

Here's one of my work saws, this is a production falling saw,it's on the limiter to much.
What size bar you running ? With a 20 or 24 inch bar mine bangs off the limiter also.
